Figure 8 "Tear Drop Snaffle" Full Cheek

This bit design has been around for years but was made famous by the hunter trainer, Peter Pletcher, for helping hunters go lightly, and quietly in the bridle. 

This Figure 8 bit features a flat mouthpiece, connected with two loops. This bit simultaneously works on the bars, tongue, and lips when engaged, but is very soft in the horse's mouth on a loose rein.
